‘Television has
destroyed communication among friends and family’, as the line says so.
However, I disagree with the line. I believe that television gives a good
impact for communication within our
friends and family, because it could create togetherness. Here are several
reasons that would support my opinion:
Firstly, television
can gather our families and friends to have entertainment. Family and friends
will sit around in front of a tv , talking about a show on TV, and enjoying
their time together. The show coud be about a movie, football game, cooking
show, and many more. They can watch those shows during the informal meeting. In addition, television could start a conversation about the best movie scene,
the latest football game, and the greatest cook. Although they have different
opinions in the discussion, the tv will sucessfully produces communication.
Second, television
could unite friends and families through TV as a means of communication. Among
friends, watching television could explore the school memories as they remember
the past. In families, especially large families instead of core could share the
similarity and the feeling of raising family. It is more comfortable when the
topic discussed is sometimes supplied by the inormation or news from tv. Thus,
television does not only starts a communication, but it could also unite us.
Third, Television
gives updated informations that friends, families could renew their
communication. Television reports the latest infromation and leaves
communication ongoing to better the daily meeting. Friends and families could
forget their resentment each other after they are well informed by tv.
Hopefully, television doesn’t destroy communication, instead it gives the
opportunity of open and continuous communication among friends and family.
In conclusion,
television doesn’t destroy communication, but improves the relationship among
friends and family. It provides entertainment, unity, and updated communication
which expectedly leads good relationship day to day.
